The Harris Center Supports Arts Education!
The Harris Center for the Arts (HCA) is committed to supporting the next generation of artists by making the arts accessible and inspirational for all. It’s no secret that students who actively engage in the arts through a variety of experiences gain multiple benefits that contribute to academic achievement and personal success.
ClassACTS!
Through donations to the Arts Opportunity Fund, the ClassActs! program invites students throughout the region to take part in the excitement and wonder of live theater, which can at times be out of reach for many children and their families. The program provides low-income, Title I elementary schools free tickets and transportation to the HCA's state-of-the-art venue. The series is designed to provide a program that will entertain and inspire local students through multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary performances.
We are so grateful to the donors and foundations whose contributions established this incredible resource for local youth, and we welcome new gifts to assist with continuing this important program in the future.
The HCA Supports Emerging Artists!
The Arts Opportunity Fund provides crucial financial assistance for groups of emerging artists in the community who perform at the Harris Center. From marketing and theater rental to tech support and ticket sales, the fund can help cover costs that may make producing a show cost-prohibitive.

The Harris Center for the Arts Fund
The Center is known for performances featuring an array of culturally diverse touring companies, authors, and musicians. But like many venues, ticket sales only cover a portion of the Harris Center’s expenses. Additional support comes from arts lovers, just like you! Unrestricted contributions are vital to bringing exciting touring performers to the area, providing affordable access for students and local artists, and keeping ticket prices reasonable. Gifts to the Harris Center for the Arts Fund do not earn membership benefits.
