El Dorado Dance Academy

Folsom Concert Association (FCA)

Attracting Folsom's youth to share the enjoyment of fine music is one focus of the association. Each year, at least one of the contracted artists performs an outreach program, where the youth of our community are invited to attend a free concert, tailored for the younger audience. These outreach programs have been held at the Folsom Community Center as well as at the local schools.

Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet

Among the many ballet disciplines, Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet bases its training in the Royal Academy of Dance, the largest teaching organization in the world. This approach emphasizes a combination of correct anatomical placement and strong technique which allows for greater artistic freedom. The studio focuses on training bodies for a lifetime of dancing, free of the injuries that cut so many young dancers’ dreams short. Learn more by visiting www.phcb.org.

Sacramento Ballet

The School of the Sacramento Ballet, in an effort to meet the Sacramento community’s demand for quality dance education in a professional environment, offers classes to develop Young Artists. Instruction is offered in beginning to advanced ballet technique, pointe, repertory, contemporary, variations, boys ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical and tap. The Tutu Toddlers classes are for 18 month to 3 1/2 year olds and their participating adult to discover the joy of music, imagination and movement together.The Chilren’s Division offers classes for ages 3.5 years old and above. The Student Division offers classes for ages 8 and above, beginner to pre-professional. The Open Division offers classes for teen/adults, homeschoolers and intermediate to advance students.
